Goal difference didn't take much of a hit too. OK day really. Saying that, they could've scored a lot more. Just glad it's fuckin done.
Best result against City since our smash n grab

Liked how Sam said it was a stupid penalty to give away. Seemed disgusted by it. Aswel as saying Meslier wasn't happy but it is what it is kinda thing....

About time these players were told their fucking stupid mistakes are absolutely unacceptable.

If a player has credit in the bank then yeah protect him in the press. If there's no credit in the bank then fuck moddycoddling them, just drop em. Let em know they need to improve and if that hurts their feelings tell em to either knuckle down or fuck off.

Exactly. He’s not happy about being dropped (and he shouldn’t be) and we’re not happy with him flapping at almost everything.

Yep. And Struijk will be very mindful of clumsily running into someone in the box in the future. Put an arm round him and play it down he'll only fuckin do it again next week.

Not a fan of Struijk.

Think he's vastly overrated.

From memory, Rubles punched the ball away once.
It went clear of the area and out of the way.

Defo. Decision making is nowhere near Prem standard.

Seemed OK didn't he. More stable. Some good saves too.

There was that moment in the first half when he came to claim but dropped it. Though that useless twat Rasmus jumped into him. Should've given him a shout mind. Dunno.

I'm just glad it's outta the way, but Haaland missed three sitters, plus the missed penalty. On the face of it, though, ts a decent effort againt the best team in the league. Better than 7-0.

Think that result and everything after will do more good than harm. I would have been happy keeping them to below 5 after recent score lines so to come away with a -1 deficit isn’t bad. An extra week now to get some structure and hopefully build off that second half performance where we pressed abit more and we’ll get something from Newcastle. A point would be good. Feel it in my knackers that we’ll stay up, maybe on goal difference.
