3 clean sheets in 4. Unbeaten. Players like Solomon, Ramazani and Tanaka getting up to speed. Joseph finally gets his goal. Happy days.

As good a start as I'd have hoped considering how grim things looked throughout August.

Farke said in his post match that he wanted a no.10 but they cost a lot of money and the owners basically decided against it.

I genuinely think the board saw Aaronson play well v Sheff Wed and thought "he'll do".

I hope Farke is working on a contingency plan if/when Aaronson gets injured. Piroe is way too slow and doesn't protect the ball enough in crowded areas for that role. Gnonto or Solomon would be a better option, though not ideal.

I remember when Pablo came, played on the wing. But such was his intelligence we put him at 10 as we just needed him on the ball as much as possible. Solomon gives me similar vibes. Looks a very intelligent and classy player who could create centrally.

Anyway, hopefully Aaronson stays fit.

Watching Tananka, and how comfortable he looks and eager to get the ball, we may have another possible 10

Yeah good shout. Apparently he can dictate games from anywhere in that midfield area, so you'd think he'd be comfortable there.

Got high hopes for him from what I've read. Even in the 8. I think Gruev can be a little over cautious at times, though I do rate him.

Can you imagine how much Joseph will be worth come May if he keeps this up. Proper no.9s are rare as rocking horse shit these days so cost a fortune. He's 20 yrs old playing like a seasoned pro in a very physical league. Every scout in Europe will be keeping a very close eye on him right now.

Kid really does have everything. No weaknesses. His potential is huge.

Not gunna lie, I don’t see this hype with Joseph at all. He waves his fist at the crowd and folk think he’s the second coming. His first touch is poor bar one yesterday. If we have to rely on him for season we will struggle. Bamford does the press and bullies defenders more and better.

Experience v Youth? you’d think farke would be coaching that into him but not sure he will.

I'm surprised you think this tbh. Was decent v Portsmouth. Quiet v West Brom with no service. Top drawer v Sheff Wed.

Yesterday he was very good imo. Played a part in both goals. Trapped one dead on the edge of the box to play Aaronson in first half. Closed down defenders. Made great runs.

That's 3 goal contributions in 4 so far and he's worked tirelessly throughout.

I love Paddy but I think we've finally found someone who can do the same job who is actually going to be available most games (touch wood).
