Trouble is i wouldn’t trust any government (appointment) to run a bath let alone football.

Agree but needs to be carefully thought through, imagine someone line gove or the likes in charge of a gov appointed panel. Fook me.
Can just see it now, a panel that includes the Man City owners, though government sources insist their inclusion is not related to a recent sizeable donation by the UAE outfit.
