Farke joined Norwich just after they got relegated in 2017. They finished 14th. We all know what happened the following season.
We’ve had probably the most difficult summer since we were relegated to League 1. Regardless of where we finish he gets to start next season for me.
I’m not interested in his back catalogue, i’m just going on what i’ve seen so far. He’s steadied the ship, he’s done ok given that in reality we had given others a ten point start on us by the time it was clear what he had to work with. I’m just not convinced he knows what to do. Last night was one of several games, where he failed to make changes to a game plan that with all the will in the world was quite clearly not working. Piroe is wasted, and not for the first time this season i’m saying he might as well not have been on the park. We play with such a lack of pace even Fev and myself could keep up with play. I’m sorry but baring some decent buy’s in Jan i think we will be yet again disappointed come end of season. For me he has one of if not the best squad in the league. We should be putting teams like Brum, Stoke, Rotherham Sunderland away for fun. It just isn’t happening though and i can’t see the 69 ers wanting to go into another season with this type of under performing tactically, can they even afford that? Obviously this is only based on my opinion, others clearly see it differently.

Like we should have done at QPR in 19/20? Or Charlton? How about Swansea at home? Or Wigan?
If you think 2pts per game is underperforming that’s up to you. But for this division, historically, it’s bang on. Since September we’ve been bang at it. Could we have beaten Stoke & Rotherham? Yes. But we didn’t. That’s football.
What I will add, a couple of points, is that, for me, this division isn’t what it was pre Covid. The money isn’t there.
Our 19/20 team tears through this division. Burnley recently got voted best ever Championship side. Laughable. Look at what went up and how they’re getting on. Covid and empty stadiums killed this league.
Out of our current squad who stands up in the PL? For me, very, very few.
Maybe if we’d bought better and hadn’t been so arrogant with contract clauses we’d be doing better than 2pts a game but here we are. And as such I’m not sure you can really ask more from the manager.

Basically, I don’t get this losing our heads when we’re tracking exactly where we need to be.
I haven’t checked or looked but tell me ( if I’m wrong) that we aren’t top 2 in terms of points won since start of September?

Couple of days ago I looked at the form table for last 10 matches and we were top. So I assume we'll be there or there abouts from September onward.

In other news, Leicester won again . Just the 17 wins out of 21 for them.

Whenever I've watched em they haven't even looked that good ffs. Same with Ipswich. In fact nearly every Ipswich match I've watched has been even, with them getting a late ish winner, usually involving a fuckin deflection or a defensive error.

To paraphrase Kevin Keegan, I would fuckin love it if we beat them at ER.

Got a horrible feeling all roads lead to a play-off semi-final at the Staduim of Light, battling it out to see who faces Southampton in the final. Ugh.

If that’s the case hope like fuck we do enough in the home leg and win the toss for who wears the home kit in the final

Another one from Jonny Cooper:

Most points won after 21 Championship games in a season (2004-05 onwards):

52 Leicester (2023-24)
51 Ipswich (2023-24)
50 Reading (2005-06)
49
48 Wolves (2017-18)
47 Wolves (2008-09)

How very Leeds of us.
