Another rat departs. Thankfully the last of the US weirdos on social should follow.

Have I missed something with Costa?
Is he still here?

Yes but not part of squad and wants to leave. Last year of his deal, I’d expect him to head back to Saudi in next couple of weeks.

Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Jaidon Anthony on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.

The 23-year-old arrives at Elland Road from AFC Bournemouth, in a deal which will see Luis Sinisterra head in the opposite direction to the Vitality Stadium, for the remainder of the campaign.

Anthony spent his youth career with Arsenal, before going on to join the Cherries in 2016.

He went on to make his debut for Bournemouth in December 2020 against Preston North End in the Sky Bet Championship, before amassing six further appearances throughout the campaign in all competitions.

The following season, Anthony established himself as a key player on the south coast, making 45 appearances as Scott Parker’s side won promotion to the Premier League.

During the 2021/22 campaign, in which Bournemouth finished as runners-up in the second tier, he scored eight goals and provided six assists.

Last season, Anthony helped the Cherries keep their Premier League status, featuring 30 times as they finished in 15th place.

The winger has started three of Bournemouth’s four matches in the current campaign, with his last outing coming in Tuesday’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City in the Carabao Cup.

He becomes the ninth and final arrival of the summer transfer window, alongside Ethan Ampadu, Sam Byram, Karl Darlow Ilia Gruev, Glen Kamara, Joel Piroe, Joe Rodon and Djed Spence.

Anthony will be unavailable for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road, but could make his Leeds United debut after the international break against Millwall at The Den, on Sunday 17th September

Just seeing the bulk of the dross from greaseball and the wank yanks signings basically gone( how the fuck did firpo survive?) makes me feel better. It was clear that grease ball had killed the whole ethos of togetherness under MB with his cheap shot, light weight, money grabbing mercenary signings. Good riddance to the lot of them. Re build and fuck AK off from boardroom and strengthen the structure. Said it before, whole structure was built on sand, now the 69’ers need to show me i’m wrong about them not understanding FOOTBALL.
We go again.

Yes yes i know 49’ers 🙃

Would have loved Ilias Chair to come in, and there's questions at left back in Byram's ability to stay fit and Firpo's form plus his ability to stay fit (I do think his form will be fine in this division however) which we're all aware of.

That aside though this is a squad with depth (can't believe I just said that about a Leeds United squad) that should be challenging at the top end of the table under a very capable Manager. Actually looking forward to this season.
