Well unless I’m wrong, basically, we’re in the first year. Over the next 3 seasons our losses ‘must not’ total more than 39m (in this division) .So 13m a season. So I can understand getting wages off the books. That helps. What I’m struggling to understand is what appears to be a ‘we only spend what we get in’ approach.

Does the funds we're still paying for transfers count? For example we're still paying a certain amount a year to Scum for Dan James.

50m this summer we’re on the hook for. Same next season. Covered this season by parachute payments. Not so much next season.
