Release Firpo into the wild, get a new left back and keep Hjelde as cover.

Especially as Hjelde can play centre back as well.

Yep. He can provide cover for left back and left centre half. Makes no sense to move him on.
Unless it is another contract fuck up by the club which wouldn’t surprise me.

Seems a sensible move.

Feel sorry for Meslier me. Everything was looking so promising for him. Talks of him being worth £40+m etc. Yeah the odd mistake but he won us so many points with his saves.

Then he just went to absolute shit, a victim of our terrible defence but became the weakest part of that defense eventually. Confidence slowly draining til he's a nervous wreck, huge errors almost constantly.

So sad to witness it.

Unrelated but Mes' girlfriend is gorgeous. All our other player's birds have that wierd fake plastered-in-makeup look. They all look same. But Mes' bird is naturally beautiful and doesn't get dolled up. Has that pretty las next door vibe to her.
