General Football
Re: General Football
Chelsea and Fulham letting us down thus far
Re: General Football
Actually not too bad those results. Forest, Leicester and Southampton look doomed to me.
Forest have a horrendous April. Pretty unlikely they get a point and increase on their 27 points this month.
Then there's Leicester on 25 points. Can't even beat Bournemouth at home today. Very grim situation for them.
Then Southampton on 23 points with Man City to play today.
Win tomorrow and we're all but safe imo. Really can't see us going down from that position.

Yeh not bad but certainly frames the mind for tomorrow. No room for complacency.

Romano saying Marsch to Leicester should be done in the next 24 hours.

I did say when he was rumoured it was a totally different style and a massive risk that likely wouldn't pay off. Don't know what the club were trying to pull by calling him a natural successor to Bielsa. Even the pressing is a totally different setup.Hampshirewhites wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 8:07 amDisliked him from day one.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 6:50 pmDisliked him because he only won anything when his side was miles better than anyone else's in a shit league.
He is and was diabolical.
Could of got someone far better.
And for the club to say he was a natural successor to Bielsa
We'd be safe already if we'd had Gracia all season.

Aye, they're fucked. The loss today, James Maddison deleting his twitter account, 3 year deal for Marsch....Their fans are completely resigned to relegation reading their comments.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 8:02 pmGood that's 3 more points for us.
Thought we'd do them as it is, but with him at their helm it certainly helps the cause.

His response to the news was quote tweeting it and simply saying 'really?'
