Yeah he was basically just spitting out dated platitudes. He's no idea Firpo has turned a corner the way he was dissing him. He reckons we only know one way to play (despite not even playing with a striker last week).

He really showed his ignorance though with Sini. Said he's had to be patient all season due to the form of our other wingers, when he's actually been injured all season.

Bloke clearly cba doing his research, and doesn't pay any attention to Leeds despite being an ex player.

Jesse then spent the next 12months trying his best to undo everything Bielsa taught them, and now if Javi does keep us up, he will have truly saved us and deserves huge credit.

There was a few wide shots on the coverage today where Sinisterra and Jackie were as wide as the pitch would let them be and I just kept thinking 'Jesse Marsch you fucking retard'
You're probably right. He had a full preseason to implement his tactics and a stronger squad and somehow made us worse than we were when he first came in (and his footy was terrible even then). Plus he took us to the last day favourites for the drop. Could've gone either way that day. Skin of teeth job.

Javi will have us finishing 12th this season. No danger, no drama. So refreshing seeing these players playing to their strengths.

If Javi keeps us up comfortably and bearing in mind where we started from, he deserves a cracking at the job. Agree with your comments when you spoke about Robinson.
Javi adjust the team to suit the the threat other teams pose. Hopefully once pressure is off, other teams will worry about us.

And there we see the difference, An understanding of the Game and it’s tactics. I know we lost to the arse but look at the difference in the set ups, chalk and cheese. Not sure if Javi is the man to take on next year and his football can be drab, but by fuck he’s so far in front of that useless yank cunt it’s unbelievable. How anyone thought he was the man i’ll never know, even those who were in the give him a chance camp were totally blind to his previous.
Not out of it yet but feel so much more confident with an actual football minded man in place than i did at any point with the previous dimwit.

Marc Roca was a hero last night

Was class from start to finish, really took control of the midfield and his distribution was exactly what we’d been promised when he signed

Firpo another excellent game and stopped a clean break when Koch misread a punt downfield.

Got fringe players coming into good form, Palace is going to be a much tougher game this weekend but if we can play like that you’ve got to fancy us.

Roca's best game so far, McKennie looked much better too. Big improvement all round.

I think we'd be daft not to. Thing about Javi is he never underperforms. His previous roles have ranged from ok to good considering what he's had to work with. Our squad is 2 or 3 quality signings away from being light years ahead of any promoted sides in the coming seasons.

Why take a risk rolling a 6 when you've already rolled a 4? Especially with how turbulent the last couple of seasons have been. Need to finally consolidate imo.
