That got a proper pchysco goal celebration from me this morning. Silently running around the coffee table punching the air, trying not to wake the kids up.
I like Gracia a lot. His temperament on the sideline, his goal celebration, his interactions with the players at fulltime, his post match interview. All class.
Orta on the other hand. Fuck me. The crocodile tears need to stop. He's no Dicaprio and it just looks pathetic.

Massive three points. Decent performance.
Gotta love Ayling after the match.
Some young kid ran on from the east stand to get someone’s shirt and the steward was all ready to march him off to the west stand before Ayling pulled rank and returned him to his parents.

Three points needed.
played alright but not a full performance but i suppose that will come in time.
Think they were there for the taking, apart from their 18 they were fucking shit.

I think it was noticeable today that they'd been instructed to knock it around, keep the ball, and build towards a chance.
I reckon Jesse instructed them to just get the ball towards the goal quickly, and they were always running in to dead ends and forcing passes that weren't on.
It was a 1-0 win over the bottom placed side, but it just felt different.

Took my neice and she had me waiting 2 hours to meet Jack Harrison and he didn't even fuckin show up.
Firpo and Adams very good.
Aaronson was ....Aaronson ugh
Overall a great start for the gaffer.

I kept thinking to myself... is Firpo getting better or have the rest of them become so shit that he doesn't look so bad?

The pom pom Prince never hides what his tactical instruction is. He's done seminars on it.Skippy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 25, 2023 8:26 pmI think it was noticeable today that they'd been instructed to knock it around, keep the ball, and build towards a chance.

The basis is hitting direct balls at the opposition back line then hoping to pinch it back and get a shot off quick. To do that you need pass accuracy which the style doesn't really lend itself too and that's half the problem with it.
Anyway that nightmare is over now.
