Reports in France saying Paixao didn't train with the rest of the OM squad yesterday and Sunderland have made bids for him.

His stats for a strong team in a shit league were not overly impressive. Okafor on a par in much harder league. Don’t know much about him so only going on what i’ve seen. Also seen it said we didn’t persue this time round, dunno odd one. Sunderland also looking at Grelish

Sunderland in for Grealish. Can't see them getting both. Agent pushing it?

I will add that whilst it was admitted we were looking at him, he wasn’t top of the list (apparently). 3rd in fact. Which makes you wonder who 1 & 2 are.

How many more do we need? How many will we get before Tuesdays deadline?
I think 3 needed. Keeper, Striker & LW. Think we’ve settled that between Gabby, Justin & the Lienou kid we consider LB covered. I base that purely on the fact I’ve not seen us linked with any all summer.

Minimum of two, striker and keeper. LW and LB would be great. Gabby and Okafor are a bit injury prone. Lienou untried. Pity him and Cresswell didn't get a few minutes last night. No need to have brought DCL on.

Wonder if he sees his best 11 including Okafor and Wilson, or will prefer to play one of them with Aaronson but rarely together (Will depend on the opposition too I assume). But I think this has a bearing on how essential they view a new attacking midfielder to be.

Back-up Goal keeper essential and we'll get one.

Striker would be nice but doubt it will be seen as essential. Our 3rd choice striker hardly got any minutes last season.

In his last interview Paraag said the final days of the window is when unique opportunities occur. He said players who wouldn't normally consider Leeds or whom their club weren't willing to sell suddenly become a possibility.

Personally, I think we have money set aside to take advantage of potential "unique market opportunities", and already have the essential signings completed (barring a back-up goalie). I think we have our eye on potential coups in the attacking areas. Really hope we get something over the line.
