What a great start to the season. Would've taken a draw.

Chatting to an old mate last night, he’s a Mackem, has serious concerns that the qualifying for Europe might do them in

We said on ere last season if we can just turn some away draws into wins and some narrow away losses into draws we'll be comfortably top 10.

I think we saw that today, the solidity needed to come out on top in tight away games. Trafford and Tarik bring more assurance to the backline than we had last season. Last season we didn't really win an away match in this particular fashion. 1st time of asking this season. Bodes well.

Our attack was a bit meh. Looks like it may take Wilson a bit of time to settle in, but he's proven his class in this league so no concerns there.

Similar to the second half of last season whenever Okafor was on the bench, I just found myself yearning for him to come on most of the match. Hope he's ready to start soon. Still look a bit one dimensional without his pace and directness. Be nice to bring someone in of a similar mould, which we seem to be trying to do.
