If we’d have sold him 12 months ago and got 15+3, I’d have still thought it was a decent fee for him. Very polarising player. To some he’s up there with the best in the PL and to others he’s just average. Not terrible. Not great either.

Agree, comes in as a bit of a non entity, never quite worked out if i rated or didn’t rate. Odd one tbh

I heard that too. We'll have more to spend this window if it's done before 1st July or summat, before the new rules officially kick in.

30th June is deadline when PSR ends and SCR begins. Still have to be compliant for the former before end of this month.

I’m not saying we’ve had to the deal with Brighton but I do find the timing curious.

Like you said, Brighton seem to be the only suitors and we don’t seem to be hanging round to see if anyone else wants him.
