I'd still take Nuno if all else fails.
Nowhere near as bad as people like to make out when you look at his record with Wolves. Spurs didn't work but sometimes these things don't. Howe was turd at Burnley and now look at him.

Aye I was saying the other day two 7th place finishes and 13th when sacked. You'd take that here.Yeboahs left foot wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 8:04 pmDid well with Wolves although just abit defensiveSchwantz34 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 7:32 pm I'd still take Nuno if all else fails.

I don't remember them being that defensive when they first came up though? I'd have to look back at the goals scored etc.
I just like that he's proven in the division and done well.

He would need to cut out the fake head injuries shit.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 8:08 pmAye I was saying the other day two 7th place finishes and 13th when sacked. His Wolves teams definitely didn't score freely so could be called a little defensive in this league. It worked mind you and with our squad he'd have more flair to use than he had there.Hampshirewhites wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 8:25 pmHe would need to cut out the fake head injuries shit.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 8:08 pmAye I was saying the other day two 7th place finishes and 13th when sacked. Agree completely on the head injuries.

Hiring an Argentinian named Marcelo with a poor grasp of the English language? What’s the worst that could happen?Skippy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 6:50 pm Surely this Gallardo is no chance of coming?
Doesn't strike me as someone who would enjoy the Yorkshire weather for starters.
And even though he's won a lot of trophies, hes never done it outside his home country, probably never dealt with a language barrier and a squad full of players from all over the world, and River Plate are one of the top sides in Argentina so he's certainly never been in a relegation battle.
It'd obviously be a big statement and I'd definitely be excited to see how it went, but it'd be a massive gamble imo. I'd be excited and very nervous I think.
He’s tipped for a top European job, he turned down Ajax only a few weeks ago

Yes but our Marcelo had already managed in Europe with different sorts of clubs with different sorts of challenges and budgets etc.RLG wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 8:35 pmHiring an Argentinian named Marcelo with a poor grasp of the English language? Not sure how many challenges Gallardo has faced in his time as a boss?
Like I said, I'd be really excited if he was the guy but there's also a big chance it could go south quick

Re: Marsch Out
Think we could quickly find a song for Marcelo.
