Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
Thing that stands out for me and a few have mentioned it is that DCL seems a sensitive soul and obviously in touch with his feminine or just doesn’t give a fuck what he wears. Anyway, I think for his personality he’ll be the player who prefers the arm round shoulder encouragement and not the bollocking sort. Looking at the managers Everton have had, I can’t see Dyce or Moyes being the cuddle type. Be interesting to see his stats under each manager, reckon Fat Frank would be a arm round shoulder mate manager. Farke seems to be closer to this than Dyce etc. He’d probably thrive under the useless yank too.

First interview. Says he turned down some offers from Champions League clubs.

Tricky one to absorb isn't it.
Big wiry fucker will be a threat coming off the bench, especially from set pieces. Probably have to manage his game time to look after those hamstrings. That's my realistic expectations.
Worst case scenario is he's crocked and just Paddy 2.0, misses too many games.
Best case scenario is he remains in great condition and gains confidence. If that happens, he will break into the first 11 and we've got a hell of a striker on out hands.

His talent is not in doubt.
I reckon that he'll do alright and will score and create problems for opposition defenders.
I prefer him to Callum Wilson who is, was a comparable option.
Choose life.
