Yup, he's pretty much been injured since our second season in the Prem. I can't remember a prolonged run of match fitness since.

Fuck knows where i got it from but i thought he was on a lot more and that he had a clause maintaining his salary even upon relegation.
Seem to remember his PL terms were rumoured to be 90k (to bring him in line with Rodrigo). Something like a 40-45% relegation clause was inserted in all those contracts.
