Yeah Langford.
They have VAR in the final, why not the semis? Can't trust these refs in such big occasions.

I might be wrong ere actually. Bristol fans admitting it was a red on their forum, saying he dragged him down before making the tackle, and the red is for that initial offence. Dunno, need to see it again.

What happened to the no red if a penalty? Double jeopardy or whatever?

Double jeopardy only comes into play if there is a genuine attempt to play the ball, or so I've read tonight.
So in tonight's case, as the defender was adjudged to have dragged the player down before making the tackle, that initial offence was viewed as not trying to play the ball.

40 years since Bradford fire, i was at Brum and we had The young lad killed when wall went down. Dark Dark day for football. RIP all.

Was at home watching Grandstand(?) when it came through. Terrible day for football. Think there’s a documentary on Bradford. John Helms story of how it unfolded and the aftermath is harrowing.
