Nice to see Dan James get the credit he deserves these days. Newsome and Popey saying he's best player in the league.

Lazy sky commentator after his goal v Luton said his end product is an issue but his pace is always a threat. Bollocks, guy scores for fun at this level. 16 goals in 50 appearance is great productivity for a winger. Assume he has a few assists too and is around a goal contribution every other game.

Piroe is at this juncture a better striker than Joseph and it’s not even close. He’s a legit fox in the box and a 20 goals a season player minimum if he is played regularly. I know he does nothing other than slap it in the onion bag but that’s what I want in a striker. Don’t care if he’s a lazy cunt, finishers finish.

He's averaging a goal every 117 minutes. Second best ratio in the Championship. Can't drop him for a bit of added athleticism. Joseph just doesn't have goals to his game yet unfortunately.

From Smyth:

Max Wober and James Debayo were just called by fitness coach Chris Domogalla to do the last little bit of the starting line-up's warm-up. Shuttle runs etc. Don't think I can recall any of the subs being required for that before.

Hmmm wonder if someone has picked up a knock in the warm up

Fans saying that no food or drink at the ground due to Blackburns payment system being offline. Grim.
