Interesting that all promotion bonuses (20m-ish) are pushed forward into this accounting period, further compacting what we actually had to spend but also preventing a potential breach for last season.

Nobody seems to want to hear it though, people thinking we should habe been spending loads more,im not completely convinced with the 49ers and even farke but the hysteria going on is mental.

And in today’s market 100 million is bugger all.
I think the failure to clear out a few is main reason we were stuck. Tis what it is. Now down to farke to get a tune out if what he has.

Are those bonuses repayable if we don't retain our Top Flight status?

Can you imagine the hysteria if we’d sold Tanaka?

Just for clarity, our outlay on the books transfer wise this summer (new toys only) is around the 24/25m mark. Everything else is on wages and previous signings.

Just shows how hard it is when you get promoted now unless you sell some players.
