I reckon we were hoping on a sale for reasonable to big money (Struijk, Gnonto) to free up wiggle room and nothing ever materialised. Those 2 would have been mostly pure profit. Zero interest in Harrison, Aaronsen, Meslier (10m turned down my arse).

If he admits there’s money still sat in a pot that will look even worse.

In part 2 he states how there are no relegation loan clauses and there are relegation release clauses but they're all either what we paid or more than we paid, so we won't be making a loss on any player.

Hopefully it won't matter anyway but good to know in case the worst happens. Should be in a healthy position to bounce straight back.

Thing is, when they say they’re at the limit of PSR, I believe them. We spend in January (rarely cheap), we have to offset with a sale, either then, or at the end of the season.
Problem with end of the season (before 30th June) is that we’re over a barrel. Other clubs know we’ll need the money and we’ll be lowballed.
Maybe we’ll go back in for Wilson who’ll have less than 6mths left on his current deal but even then there’s no guarantee that Fulham would let him go for less than the 7m rumoured price from the other day.
