LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
Josh Brownhill, anyone?
Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
He's rejected wolves apparently. Must have summat lined up if he's rejecting a Prem move.
Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
It’s an odd one, given that he announced his departure from Burnley..6 weeks ago?
Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
Probably sat on a beach somewhere getting updates from his agent who is doing everything he can to squeeze an agent fee for himself out of any potential deals.
Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
I’ve been patient with our board. But even with the limitations on our funds, I find it almost inexplicable how we’ve failed to get at least one body through the door. Like him or not, Farke has been pretty much hung out dry here.

Okafor needs to come goodTitman wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 7:02 pm Marathe looks a right tit now, given his ‘things happen late in the window’ comments the other week.
Have to hope the fitness gamble on DCL, Nmecha & Okafor pays off. Thinks it’s important DCL stays fit as he does actually look a threat.
I’m on the fence about Okafor & Bornauw.

Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
Can't both be true.
Re: LUFC Summer Transfer Rumour Thread 2025
Either way we allowed ourselves to be fucked over at the last minute. Again.

I'd just play Jack there. I'd rather him driving to the touchline and putting balls in than Gnonto cutting inside and having his wild shots blocked. Pointless having DCL if Gnonto is doing that.Hampshirewhites wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 8:20 pmOkafor needs to nmbe goodTitman wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 7:02 pm Marathe looks a right tit now, given his ‘things happen late in the window’ comments the other week.

But yeah, ideal scenario is Okafor turns out to be a baller. So far though (and I admit it's too early to say) I just get the feeling he's a luxury player, all tricks and no substance, limited defensive input. Hope I'm wrong.
