I just hope who ever (if) we bring in, we have done our homework, no fuckin useless injury prone cabbages like firpo but someone who can progress and can add something to the squad in the future, someone who can progress and be useful if by any miracle we get promoted.
I think we did ok in summer, i’m not convinced it was farkes picks mind, I think who ever was behind the decisions needs to be doing more of the same. And please fuck firpo right off what ever happens, i’d rather play darlow at full back than ever see that cunt in a white shirt again.
Yep was a decent summer. Ampadu, Kamara and Rodon is about as good as signings get at this level. Gruev also looking excellent in his recent outings. Byram decent though injuries aren't ideal. Bit of a fuck-up with Spence, and I'm not sure £12m on Piroe was wise considering how he's been used. He's now basically an expensive understudy to Bamford, though at least Farke now isn't putting him at 10 when he gets game time.

I assume Farke just gives green light on most signings (though Byram was probably his, and that Aarons we tried to get, ex players etc.). The recruitment guys doing a good job identifying players so far which bodes well for the future. Certainly a better hit rate than that charlatan Orta.
100%, just seen on an Irish fan site coopers contract not getting renewed, off end of season. No surprise there, makes it more bizarre Cresswell not getting in squad mind.
Probably land himsen another couple years at a Champ club, somewhere like Hull.

I can't seeing the window ending without a full back and centre half coming in. I think Farke would like 2 full backs but that will likely be a stretch too far on our budget.
I think we're crying out for a ball carrying midfielder like Pritchard but can't see us getting anyone in there

In terms of incomings it seems we do have our targets. Really like to see us do LB, RB, CB. Tanganga from Spurs is an interesting link as he can fill all 3. Connor Roberts would be an excellent RB. Sign a LB like Giles and maybe the need for RB isn’t so pressing with Byram switching there, Gray to cover if/when he’s injured.
Look at it this way; at least we’re not panicking and signing another De Bok.

More reports seemingly confirming that we are somewhat shackled by FFP.

Departures of Spence, Ayling, Gyabi, Bate on loan and possible sale of Cresswell will give us room for manoeuvre.
But ultimately it’s the rats that couldn’t get out on loan fast enough in the summer that are costing us in more ways than one.

I hope we get promoted just so we can have power over all these rats again. Put em all on transfer list and in the meantime send em all on community duty to an old folks home or summat. I'd have em wiping arses all summer.

What did we pay for the Danish donkey? 10? 12? Aaronson 30? We aren’t seeing half back on either of those. Not sure we get back what we paid for Roca either - and he’s probably playing the best out of them. Pretty sure Betis will try and get us down to around 5/6m mark. Wober, break even at best.
Only one you’d say has any resale value would be Sinisterra.
All in all pretty disastrous from Orta.
