Don’t get me wrong. Kalvin’s a nice lad and Bielsa found a niche or him but in May 2018 I’d have driven him to Reading for 2.5m. He was fucking awful before Bielsa got hold of him.
So does that say more about the player or the managers?
I remember wishing it was Kalv that was sold instead of Ronaldo Viera, and I wasn't even a fan of the latter.
I think the evidence that Bielsa is a genius is borne out and continues to grow.

Just been discussing this on the minibus.
Definitely would not have missed Phillips going that season.
Bielsa was a miracle worker and so humble.
It was fucking criminal that the club didn't back him after the first Premiership season.
Orta should have be taken out and shot.
Bielsa only asked for a few players that would not have cost much and Bielsa would have turned them into decent players that would have become very valuable.

A shame most of those pushing for the playoffs are falling apart.
Coventry might have a bit of a chance if they beat Birmingham next game.

They're all playing Ipswich in the next 3 games too, Boro, Hull, and then Cov. Boro and Hull should still be in with a mathematical chance when they play them. Hopefully Cov will be too. I wouldn't want to play those 3 when it's a must win for all of them.
