Maguire and Carrick have potential but I dont see why you rate them above Farke currently if they are what you mean by "a basic understanding of tactics". Ipswich were garbage in the Prem and Carrick hasn't achieved anything thus far.

Well he's currently sat 7th in the Championship. At least he's gained promotion before though, unlike Carrick.

11/8 now. Don't know much about this guy but fairly decent, if patchy, CV. Not really that excited by him, but the sort of manager who we wouldn't be able to attract if we're relegated. Be much easier to attract someone like him now when we're currently above the relegation zone, rather than 2 months time when we may well be adrift and spiralling.

Summat certainly feels different. In our first 6 games we were the better team (apart from arsenal). Then went to shit at Burnley and have been generally useless since.
