Fuckin hell i was joking when i mentioned him. I think if this is their thinking then we are in for a turbulent ride. Their whole investment is based on us returning to the shit league this season, they won’t do it without a class manager and some decent investment in all areas. If they are taking a lead from AK then more fool them.Hampshirewhites wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 10:54 amMarshment recons Viera will be announced tomorrow.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 8:42 amPossibly. Longer it goes the less likely I think it's Farke we're getting.
New Manager

Re: New Manager
Baffling if they are. Farke seems a safe pair of hands in the Championship and plays good football at this level. Vieira….well, it’s a gamble isn’t it? Has to hit the ground running.

Not keen on that at all. His record isn't great. I don't see the argument for taking him over Farke.Hampshirewhites wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 10:54 amMarshment recons Viera will be announced tomorrow.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 8:42 amPossibly. Wouldn't surprise me.

Anyway, maybe it will pan out well. Got to hope haven't we.
Re: New Manager
Well no point crying about it if he is. Proof will be on the pitch. Pretty sure he won’t take any shit though

Re: New Manager
Smyth said on his pod today that the club are hopeful of something being done by the weekend.
Another interview to do today and one possible for tomorrow or the weekend. Says the process has been very thorough.
He also said Dorigo put Vieira in the same bracket as Gerrard in that they both have something to prove, and are probably trading on name value at this point and he wouldn't go that route. Smyth agreed and I'd not disagree either.

I'd much rather Farke but wouldn't be distraught if it was Viera has lot to prove but its not like he's been consistently terrible either.

Smyth doesn't think there's anything in him being the betting favourite.LimerickWhite wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 3:07 pm I'd much rather Farke but wouldn't be distraught if it was Viera has lot to prove but its not like he's been consistently terrible either.
Thinks it would be a bad move.

Of what's mentioned Farke would be my choice by a mile.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 3:23 pmSmyth doesn't think there's anything in him being the betting favourite.LimerickWhite wrote: ↑Thu Jun 22, 2023 3:07 pm I'd much rather Farke but wouldn't be distraught if it was Viera has lot to prove but its not like he's been consistently terrible either.
