I said at the time he was never hitting the ground running. He isn't ready and was always going to be for further down the line, and at £35m that's a big outlay for someone who won't affect a team who badly needed it now.

Yep. Been following him since you mentioned him a while back (I think it was you anyway). Then we were linked. He looks a player to me. Strong, good in the air, deceptively quick, eye for goal. Been scoring a few spectacular goals recently too. Dribbled past an entire back line t'other week but shot just wide. Would've been some goal.
