Nmecha's chance at start of the second half really showed how effective this set-up is. Chelsea had numbers back. Bogle lays it off to Stach who crosses from very deep, a seemingly non-threatening situation. However, when it arrives in the box it's 3 v 2 with both Nmecha and DCL attacking it (DCL was inches from it). Sort of opening you'd expect to see from a counter attack, but we created it by just twatting it in't box from nothing. What were Chelsea supposed to do, put 4 or 5 men in their own box when we've got it miles out on the right?

Add to that we look more solid at the back with 3 cbs. Improves us massively in both boxes.

Obviously we come unstuck at some point with this formation but THE biggest improvement is in the heart and desire of the players.
The starting XI picks itself but we do have some options off the bench as well.

We were well up for it and crowd was too. Saturday should be mental after majority pissed up. Its great to see what we can do with the midfield not being overrun all time. It just suits us perfectly which is confusing as fuck as we all seen it except for Farke. Gudmundsson is fucking awesome too.
