If anyone hasn’t, give a listen to the Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast - interview with Pete Lowy from 4th March. Good listen.

The football fans Association survey on VAR came back with a massive majority against it.
Not a surprise.
The FA said their survey said most were in favour. Shows what a load of bollocking that was

I'd be ok with the downsides of VAR (breaks in play, never knowing 100% if a goal will stand which reduces euphoria etc.) if it got decisions right and is consistent. But every week it seems to fuck up, so I dont really see the point of it. I'm still seeing inconsistencies regarding penalties, red cards and what constitutes a foul.

That new offside rule seems like bollocks to me anorl. They want players to no longer be offside by a hairs width. But lines will still have to be drawn, just in a different place, so you can still be offside by a hairs width.
I dont really understand it. Maybe I'm missing something?

It’s killed football IMO, even down to debate and banter down pub. I honestly dont think i would go to games even if i could afford it.
