Also thought midfield, defense and keeper looked solid, Need something that doesn’t lumber around up top.

no one needed carrying today, everyone played their part, Ampadu ran the midfield, Stach, tanaka brilliant. Bogle had a couple of dodgy moments as did our keeper. Subs all played their parts even Harrison, all in all a good performance

Just got in. Great 3pts. Great first half. They stepped it up second half. Introduction of Harrison & Aaronson added pressure to their backline in second half. Much needed. Pair of them have their faults but work rate isn’t one of them.

Piroe put a shift in and IMHO he was unlucky not to score when Pickford saved at close range with his leg.
I don't think that Bogle was 100% match fit as he didn't offer as much as he normally does and in fact probably sat tighter because Gudmundsson, who was probably one of our best players, was offering so much on the opposite flank. You can't both bomb forward.
I like our added pragmatism.
Central midfielders were all class. So pleased to see Ampadu get up from that late dirty challenge.

Very impressed with Farke tonight. Set us up wonderfully first half. So well drilled. Good subs at good times to spark life into that second half and help us scrape the win we deserved.
All that was missing was that x factor in the final third. As Paraag said, we'll be reinforcing the attack. Plenty to be optimistic about.

Any one of those 3 could've been motm. Only cost around £27m for all 3 of em. Remarkable business.

Shout out for the atmosphere. Great night.
