From presser, Farke intervened and told Paddy to let Piroe take the pen.

Sorry but tactics are shite. Too slow to catch a cold.
Neil Redfern was on about tactics after the game. He broke them down into different phases against different teams and praised our identity and how good the tactics and “identity” is.

They came to play the cunts, physical and waste time. Can’t fault em, their tactics nearly got them a point. The ref is up there for being shite. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him in league 1 next match. Also, whats point of a lino now a days? They just wait for ref to signal which way throwing is.

Also, conditions were shite today too. We came out of the traps early second half and created 4 good chances before the 50th minute. Would've been a couple of goals up on another day.
Best thing about today was the mentality show to get the win. Shite early goal, endless shithousing by Preston, us missing chances, but still got that win. Massive.

I went on about Piroe in wrong position eventually he’s seen the light, master stroke the pundits call it, bloody obvious i call it. Play to your strengths, We are Rapid up front and when we play at pace are dangerous as, today we were back to negative shite, just like when we have lost to shite teams away from home, we nearly came unstuck today at home. Do you agree with Redfern? I certainly don’t.
Go at them at pace we are top notch, tip tap from back or as we did several times today tip tap back to keeper from deep into the opponents defensive area’s. Just no point, farke is too negative for me given what he has at his disposal. I’ve said for weeks, he doesn’t inspire me what so ever. I don’t particularly rate him.

The chances come when we attack at speed, not when we fuck about with the ball taking 20 passes to end up further away from their goal than we started.

We can only attack at speed when there is space to attack, generally when we have countered from the opponent fancying their chances and pushed forward and high. The 20 passes are required when they park the bus and we are trying to pull them out of position. Only negative I get is from the reluctance to shoot, like a lot of times today, and favouring to walk it in. Get yer laces through it ffs.
