Gray brothers aside, there has been little to no progress on the youth development side of things.
I thought the same about Monteiro of whom we can only hope that his sell on clause brings fruit.
Alfie Cresswell does appear to be the next of the rank so there's hope there if as you say he's managed right.
Johnny Howson coming back to the club to work with the U21s seems like a great idea as he has been the model professional throughout his career of nearly 700 first team appearances.
