Anyone know whether an 'option to buy' was included in our Solomon loan?
Wonder how much Spurs will value him after the season he's having? 25 yrs old so still got his prime ahead of him.
Took him a while to get into his stride after being out so long, but he's so good now. That wing play to set up Piroe's miss sums him up. Great quick feet, decision making and final ball.
Like way he makes himself available in box when James breaks through whilst Piroe is ambling along finishing his spliff off.

The only explanation I can think of regarding the disallowed 3rd is the linesman didn't think Gnonto had touched it. The ref then went to clarify as we were celebrating and the lino was informed he did touch it so raised his flag.
Would like to see an image of the shot though as Farke said Gnonto wasn't even offside.
That pen shout though...fucking disgrace. He's absolutely clattered through the back of him as he was about to shoot. That's a fucking foul.
Fuck the officials in this League man. They're dreadful at their jobs.
I actually thought at time keeper touched it before little willy?
Yeah maybe. Only seen it a couple of times.

Yeah he's always busting a gut to get in great positions. Both him and James. Though the latter was very wasteful last night. He's plenty of credit in the bank mind.
Solomon is the probably the better player mind. Just seems to have that top tier intelligence. Though I do love Dan James.

Still cannot believe how many of those 98 we missed last night. That could have been a cricket score.
Like I said Sid, it’s nothing new to us, is it? Bamford should have had 30+ in 19/20. And he wasn’t alone. Getting in those positions is encouraging. Should have had at least 4 though. That was a nailed on penalty right in front of the ref and fuck knows what the thinking was in disallowing the 3rd right at the end.
I think Franks ego helped in that he didn’t attempt to park the bus. If they hadn’t won 4 on the bounce I think his gameplan may have differed. But he gets carried away by his own hubris.
Think it was just the amount of times last night, one on one’s. Yes barndoor and iirc joseph missed a proper sitter early in one game this year ( burnley?) and cost us dearly,
Good to see us getting in like that, never thought i’d say it but two fullbacks who played last night were excellent going forward.
Two last night were a bit off for me, Ampadu unusually and thought Gruev was very poor last night, seemed to not be able to control the ball or indeed find a yellow shirt when he needed to.
Positive night over all
Seen a few say that about Gruev. He actually out performed Tanaka in terms of passing. Funny old game.
And yes Joseph missed a 1 on 1 in first minute I think v Burnley at home.

Looked to me like keeper got something on it and it was possibly going wide until Gnonto got something on.

So wouldn’t be offside

No. And even if he didn’t, Gnonto was onside when Firpo took his shot.

Think Joseph was offside and in the keepers line of view, or restricted the defender from getting there, or both. Or not at all

Wow. Just seen that we are only +9 goals away from having our best ever GD in a season. Ever. With 15 to go.
That's amazing stats
