I dont think that's true, he carried us for a few months til that village idiot Gracia dropped him for no apparent reason. England had to double up on him. G Neville was saying Man City need to have a serious look at him. Seems a little more than 'potential'. He scares the life out of teams.

If Manning was our 1st choice as suggested by Hay, that doesn't bode well. Forget about Hamer and Piroe if we can't even beat Southampton to a free transfer.
