Meanwhile, FiFa somehow decide to turn Baloguns red card for USA into a suspended sentence. Nothing dodgy going on whatsoever.

From the BBC:
"In line with article 27 of the Fifa disciplinary code, the implementation of the match suspension is suspended for a probationary period of one year.
If Folarin Balogun commits another infringement of a similar nature and gravity during the probationary period, the suspension shall be revoked and the sanction enforced without prejudice to any additional sanction imposed for the new infringement."
What the fuck? Probation?

So, despite FIFA having bylaws to prevent any sort of political interference (nations in question can be disqualified), Infantino let them. Instead of telling them to fuck off and file an appeal. Staggers me that FIFA have found someone worse than Blatter.

Everyone involved shifting responsibility elsewhere. Trump saying all he asked was for a review. Infantino saying Fifa's judicial bodies are independent (nothing to do with him).
Infantino (from BBC).
"I read the decisions of the Fifa Disciplinary Committee when they are issued. Sometimes I am surprised by them. Sometimes I agree with them, and sometimes I disagree."

Bellingham sticking it to the "Golden Generation"
Good lad. We all had to endure that bunch of twats putting their cliques before country.
