LUFC v The Pilgrim Fathers #OMDT
Re: LUFC v The Pilgrim Fathers #OMDT
Worst drilled team I've seen at ER in years. No shots. No corners. No plan, other than to just stand in their own box.
Re: LUFC v The Pilgrim Fathers #OMDT
Looking at Burnley forum, seems they've been bullied at Millwall today, currently 1 down with 20 left to play.
Will be a good result for us if it remains, but it won't be easy down there on Wednsday. The extra day rest hopefully benefits us.

Finished 1-0. Bonus. Think I’m right Millwall are now unbeaten in last 5?
Re: LUFC v The Pilgrim Fathers #OMDT
Yep. Unbeaten in 5.
Their games seem to be very tight with few goals. Last 6:
0 - 1, 0 - 0, 1 - 1, 1 - 0, 1 - 0, 1 - 0.
First goal will be very important on Wed. We can't go there with the intention of weathering an early storm or finding our way into the match. Need to take control from kick-off.
I wouldn't take a draw if offered, but a draw wouldn't be the end of the world imo. Sunderland are going through an injury crisis with key suspensions which imo will see their form drop off (3 games for Bellingham after his red, and around 8 senior absentees overall), and Burnley just won't score enough. I think it's us or Sheff Utd for the top spot (a very premature prediction I know but it's just the way things seem to me).

Millwall's record since February 24 after scoring first:
P16 W13 D3
Not going to be the stroll in the park it was last season
Still fancy us though.

There's a site called 11v11.com that do historic tables.Yeboahs left foot wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 8:53 pm Anyone know where i can find the table at this point last season?
Dunno how to post images on here, but after 13 games last season we were:
Pld 13, W6, D4, L3, GF20, GA14, GD6, pts22.
We were 14 points behind Leicester and 9 points behind Ipswich (who had a game in hand).

So comparing this season to last after 13 games, we're 4 pts better off, scoring more and have massively tightened up at the back, and obvs our promotion rivals are nowhere near as consistent as last year.
