Ramazani ticks a lot of boxes. Youth career in England so won't need to adapt to the country/have language issues. 23 yrs old so not a youngster but still loads of time to develop. Played at a high level but coming from la liga will be cheaper than equivalent quality from the Prem.

Had a quick look at his highlights and he certainly has flair and good acceleration. Certainly in the Summerville mould.

True but ya can get a sense of what type of player he is. Only time will tell if he's effective here.

Don’t think so. They got relegated last season.

Apparently scum wanted to keep him years back but he wanted first team footy. Time will tell but I’m not holding my breath.

But he never played in La Liga and run Real Madrids defense all over. A guy I follow who breaks down plays of players mentioned him months ago as a signing we should make and then explained why. Probably no coincidence Everton nearly payed £40m for him in January.

Yes that’s all come out since. Admittedly, my knowledge of European football isn’t what it was. Football Manager had its uses!
It’s good that we’ve got one done but it feels almost like a begrudging one. Like someone has nudged the owners after Rutter left and said ‘you do know we need more than this’.
Almost like an afterthought.
And we still need more. Squad is embarrassingly light.

And at least the Jack Clarke rumours should be put to bed. Off to Ipswich.
5m less than we were apparently being quoted including add ons.

Ian Harte rather popular this morning
