Reckon a natural left footer getting forward from full back would add another little bit to be honest not in place of Byram like but in games like today.Sid wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:30 pmPlease no.LimerickWhite wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:25 pm Would love to see this team in full flow with Spence and dare I say it Firpo at full back.

Rutter and Summerville will be getting some serious Prem attention. 4 goals and 2 assists in a few hours play for Summerville and Rutter just strolls about like he's Zidane.

Hopefully nothing more than a precaution for Rodon. Cooper v Vardy & Co doesn’t bear thinking about.

He's involved in build up, assisting and getting goals.Sid wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:07 pmRutter is certainly working but he’s not in that 9 position, just think JP is wasted at the moment.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 12:49 pmI think for all the talk and mixed opinions about him and Rutter, it's working with them and they're building up quite the understanding between them.
Give that another few weeks and months and imagine how much better it could become, and it's already good.
It's working and will likely get better the more him and Rutter form that partnership/relationship between them.

Just need summat to fall on Piroe's left peg. Been falling on his right recently. Seemed more involved today. Though we dominated the ball so no surprise. I did notice he was occupying the 9 spot more today for the second half before Bamford came on.
Re: MDT Leeds v Huddersfield
Problem with that is even though Firpo tbf is ok going forward he’s a liability in defense. A left footer yes please but FirpoLimerickWhite wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:35 pmReckon a natural left footer getting forward from full back would add another little bit to be honest not in place of Byram like but in games like today.Sid wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:30 pmPlease no.LimerickWhite wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:25 pm Would love to see this team in full flow with Spence and dare I say it Firpo at full back.

Have to disagree with that, has little to no involvement in the build up’s, Rutter is the man pulling the strings on that, We just end up with no one in box as Rutter has pulled out of position to create, Piroe is just stood in the gap between midfield and attack. For me he’s be better positioned if he was in that No9 position in front of goal. He’s just not quick enough( and yes i mean speed) to get into that position from the deeper position he’s playing. For me personally i’d switch him and Rutter giving Rutter the freedom to roam and Piroe the position that i think he would relish in front of goal. He just needs to be on the last defender, with the service he would get from the wings and midfield he’s score for fun.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 2:05 pmHe's involved in build up, assisting and getting goals.Sid wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 1:07 pmRutter is certainly working but he’s not in that 9 position, just think JP is wasted at the moment.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 12:49 pm

Thought Kamara was decent today.

Oh and i’d be right pissed off if i was Creswell, how bringing cooper on is seen as adequate i really don’t know.
How far off is Spence?

I'd watch some highlights back because Piroe has definitely been involved in build ups this season. He's laid off passes for people and linked things together a fair bit as well. Maybe because he's not the last touch before a goal or the actual scorer each time, some of that is being glossed over.Sid wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 2:35 pmHave to disagree with that, has little to no involvement in the build up’s, Rutter is the man pulling the strings on that, We just end up with no one in box as Rutter has pulled out of position to create, Piroe is just stood in the gap between midfield and attack. I agree he's a striker at heart but while it's working and Rutter is playing so well we won't see Farke change it and there's little reason to really, however much we may think Piroe should be at 9 all the time.

I’m talking involvement in a positive way in attack, yes he gets involved back passing or crab passes with the defense and Midfield, i’m certain he would offer far more and be far more involved in a center forward role, We end up so many times with no one up front when Rutter wonders ( which is brilliant) . Piroe just seems wasted to me and as i’ve said is anonymous for much of the game and we end up with no- one in the box to get on the end of the inevitable supply from out wide.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 2:48 pmI'd watch some highlights back because Piroe has definitely been involved in build ups this season.
