If true that the most recent Everton bid rejected was £25m, I reckon that deal gets done. Not a huge gap to negotiate there.Yeboahs left foot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 7:26 pm Apparently we asked for £32m plus £3m in add ons.

Re: Summer '23 LUFC Transfer thread
If that is the case, you're looking at around £60m recouped from player sales, huge reduction in the wage bill, with hope those out on loan increase their value.
All while our starting midfield and defence actually looks stronger this season, with us currently a 9 and a 10 and a bit more squad depth away from looking very strong.
Perhaps all is nicely going to plan.
On the other hand perhaps next week I'll feel a tit for typing all this. It's crunch time for the board.

Great summary rick.Rick wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 9:07 pmYep. Though we weren't willing to spend north of £10m for him (despite having a manager who tuned piss into wine identifying him). Seemed pretty low risk.
Though apparently Radz was easy to convince Rutter was worth £35m.
Suppose Radz trusted Orta's opinion more than one of the most respected football minds of all time.
Forest got him for peanuts.
Oh and Orta's a cunt.

I never thought so myself but plenty think he is and he's apparently on a run of getting things right (though that's him saying it) at the minute.
O'Brien and Piroe all of a sudden with what's gone on the last week would make sense. I guess we'll see.
Re: Summer '23 LUFC Transfer thread
Hay saying we’re ‘in the mix’ for Piroe. 8-10m reported. But others in for him.

£10 million or less for Piroe is cheap.Schwantz34 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 9:38 amWould appear Nixon was correct then.
Fee seems to vary a lot. Hay (via Stu James) saying £8m-£10m. Swansea end seem to think they want £15m.
