I think that might end up being January though if you go by the quickest takeover completion so far, which was Huddersfield's one I think. That would take us past the summer window.
Vital we keep hold of certain players if that's the case. As it stands we arguably have as good a squad as his first promotion with Norwich, at a glance.

Even when we were utter dross under Marsch I thought we looked far superior to Cardiff in the cup iirc (though they did give us a scare). Big gulf to the Prem.

Sini will be the best player in the league by a mile.

Serious lack of depth in central midfield mind, though Gyabi and Adams partnership is an exciting prospect. Also, another few months of relying on Paddy will grate. Probably get away with Hjelde at LB for a few months.

A few inexperienced youngsters became important first team players for Farke's first promotion at Norwich. Could do with same happening here if our hands are tied.

Can we sign loans?
I get the impression that the 49ers can't inject money until take over is done.
Parachute money, initially us for transfers already done fro.e previously seasons
Very little money coming in from outward loans (thanks Victor you utter c..t) so unless we sell someone for £10 million plus, we're not buying much. Hence your comment about January?

I've been of the mind where they don't want to sign players until January, because of the number of investors who's money it is plus their own, and they'd still have to get Radz approval. They want to be the actual owners before doing any incomings is what I was thinking.

Reading that Smyth article though it appears we're busy trying to do incoming deals and that would be pointless if we can't sign them in this window surely.
