Maybe one of the worst days of my life was when Uruguay beat Australia 3-0 in the second leg of the final stage of World Cup qualifiers in 2001, after we'd beaten them 1-0 in the first leg.

At that stage Australia had never qualified for a World Cup in my lifetime, and had only qualified once in the tournaments history in 1974.

I was about 15.

I cried at school that day haha


But man I've always hated Uruguay as a footballing nation since then.

They're definitely my 2nd team now.
