Longstaff is down the pecking order at Newcastle. All it would suggest is Frank rates others higher than him.
Only time will tell, but before his injury he was starting games for Spurs, and for Fulham the year before.

He’s better overall than what we have. His delivery is above what Gnonto, Ramazani & James deliver. And if he’s available for sub 15m then I think we could get a decent player. Plus I think we’ve only got 1 x 30m player in our budget this summer.

I did think he was hit and miss last year, dependent on the defender he was up against. Odd that if he’s that good that Spurs have bought again in that position. Not saying is or isn’t good enough but he’d have to improve for me consistency wise. Guess he earned a shot at it mind.
