We can only hope. Should have gone with Orta.
Understandable that they needed some one
Should be fine with Rambo. His touch isn't quite there yet due to lack of gametime recently, but he'll work his bollocks of which will come in handy at Bramall Lane.
I think they'll see it as a necessary investment in their vision of making Leeds United on par with the top football brands in the world. We already have the fan base and history, all that's missing really is Prem/European football and a huge modernised stadium. I guess if they achieve their goals they'll make their money back and more when they decide to sell the club.Sid wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 12:21 pm See stadium revamp is topic of conversation again. Got me thinking, (i know rare event)
Given looking at 2/300 million or more, do clubs which are run as businesses actually deem this investment necessary. Something like this would i presume be costed on a payback on investment project. Do you think the 49 ers will actually stump up this sort of sum or saddle club with said debt ?
Would take hell of a lot of time to get their money back and these days it seems bums on seats is a secondary thought as Tv and sponsorship etc are main income. 17 k extra seats will take many a year to repay the investment.
If they invest in the playing side you could possibly see sustained Prem and European football though even without the stadium. I’m thinking stadium shows little increased revenue given the relatively small increase in capacity. I know a big shiny new ER would be good for the fans but i am just struggling a bit with why they would invest large amounts of dosh for little return. Dunno. Different if money no object but don’t think that’s the case here.Rick wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 2:12 pmI think they'll see it as a necessary investment in their vision of making Leeds United on par with the top football brands in the world.
