Problem with him is that we concede the fewest shots on target in league. And the ones that we do tend to go in. His save to shot ratio is awful.

On Meslier: "He was disappointed with last performance. He is self-critical. I like this. He is a 24yo man, who came as teen, always loyal to club, during interest in him. Stayed to pay something back and win that trust back. Named as best goalkeeper in league last year."

Fuck.Me.
Loyal. I thought he was bigging himself up when there was mention of Chelsea being interested.

He said he'd go there but only as 1st choice.

Farke wins manager of the month. He needs to repeat it this month.

If you expected Farke to publicly rip Meslier a new arsehole and declare hes dropped you either know nothing about sport, management or both.

Hopefully Darlow plays like a prime Khan and makes it impossible to be dropped because it will either be summer he goes or we pray for a panic buy from scum.

He kinda did rip him. Basically said he was at fault for all 3 goals, lets too many shots past him and said he's not been consistent all season, which is the most ruthless appraisal I've heard from Farke regarding a player's form.

What was concerning was Farke confirming Mes will still be no.1, and annoyingly then went on to justify it by bigging him up with irrelevant facts.

I may however have misinterpreted, and he was just trying to handle the situation diplomatically and does in fact intend to give Darlow a go/explore other options. Though it did sound to me like Mes will still be his no1.
