Huge summer coming up. We need to get it right.

Ayling going Boro on a permanent.

Linked with Josh Sargent but no reliable sources as far as I can tell.

Doesn’t matter who we buy or sell unless we get effective systems in place.

I'd take another 90 point season if offered now and we should be able to do it if recruitment is right. The top of the Championship will be weaker next season. We're the bookies favourite to win the league next season.

If he fails he's gone mate, and with most fan's blessing I assume. Pointless turning the thread into a Farke debate cos he's here next season regardless.

No debate just stating a fact. Doesn’t matter who is playing if we don’t have a cohesive system to play to.

Makes me smile this 90 points theory. This weaker league theory. How does anyone know what will be before the runners and riders are announced.

As for bookies favourites ,,,,,

The 2 points a game theory holds up. You’ll be there or there abouts come the end of it.
Personally I don’t think the squad was as ideal as Farke would have wanted but given the chaos of last summer we went with what we had.
On to transfers - seems like the rats are all entitled to loans again. Roma decided to not pay the 4.5m for Llorente despite all targets being met to trigger the purchase and look set to beg for another year on the never never. Colour me shocked.

Everton after Phillips on loan. They’ll do same with Harrison imo. I don’t believe the permanent deal rumours.

If he doesn’t sort out his tactics he’ll be more 1 point average than 2. I could see the issues right from the off, managers now know fully how to stub out our current tactics. Another season of shite beckons imo unless he changes his way’s totally. Something i don’t think he can do. I won’t be making excuses for him, i think he needed binning way back, be mad to go again with him, he had the best chance he will ever have this term and came up short.

1 year into a 4 year deal. They aren’t binning him.

The bookies favourites comment was more about the quality of the league. Luton, Burnley, Sheff Utd are nowhere near the quality that came down last season.

Yep, we're getting fuck all for the rats and never were unless promoted.
