They’ve said they won’t stand in his way if an offer comes in. Problem is the offer has to cover either all his wages (reportedly 70k a week) or part of his wages with an obligation to buy at end of the season. If we took the latter and failed to go up we’re in a spot of trouble.
Latest link is a loan for Brightons Julio Encisco on loan but he’s also linked to Dortmund & Strasbourg. So that’s also unlikely.
Edit: gone to Ipswich. 3 other enquires for him so possibly it was a genuine link.
Sounds like we’ve accepted that Buendia isn’t likely.
Frustrating that we’ve pretty much pissed 3 weeks of the window on him (and I think we’ll retain interest right up to the wire)

Right I see. Wonder if we can have the obligation to buy dependent on promotion. A large loan fee might twist their arm. Dunno.
Still though, doubt he'll want to leave if he's starting CL games.

That Omobamidele (Forest CB) on verge of loan move to France. This is the kid we’ve been linked with - heavily since Struijk got injured.
