Aye you'd think Darlow will be in if it's true. Hopefully we're also looking at new keeper options too.

Would like to see Ramazani and Gnonto get a half each in that no.10 role. See if either are suited. At some point Aaronson is going to get a knock.Hampshirewhites wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 7:33 pm My choice would be
Darlow.
Schmidt Josuha. Debayo Wöber
Rothwell Crew
Gnonto Ramazani Chambers
Joseph.
I would have first team back up on the bench
It depends on Firpo too

Hope he’s not come back home, pissing it down and grey as fuck.Hampshirewhites wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 5:35 pm Some talk that Meslier has gone on holiday for a few days. Hope he has as would mean Darlow starting.

Which is why a genuine 10 should be on the list this month. Between Ramazani, Gnonto & Solomon they have something like 20 appearances between them as 10. In their entire careers. Gnontos mostly being under Marsch. And that guy was fucking clueless. Strikes me as filling in. None of them are 10s. And a game against L2 opposition even if it works proves nothing. It’s Fools Gold.Rick wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 7:43 pmWould like to see Ramazani and Gnonto get a half each in that no.10 role. See if either are suited. We have wanted one for the last 2 summers. Club needs to show their ambition this window. No square pegs in round holes please.
Re: Zebbys Mighty Whites away to Hull (rah rah rah)
It is but some blame has to be laid at the club for what is, nothing short of a ridiculous charade. Claims that we turned down 10m for him in the summer? Absolute bollocks. They were hoping he’d fulfill some of that potential and be a viable cash in option at some stage.
At this point even a couple of mill is a profit on him. And I don’t see anyone stupid enough to pay that for him. He’ll end up getting loaned out abroad IMO. Departs on a free in 18 months.

Without a doubt. Though worryingly Farke has recently said he hasn't even had time to think about transfers. Hope it's just talk and there are actually things going on behind the scenes.Titman wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 8:36 pmWhich is why a genuine 10 should be on the list this month. I can't see us spending much mind. Probably be loans if anything (which would be fine if we get them right). I can't remember the exact numbers but I think we'd need to raise a decent wedge in summer if we don't go up for PSR? Club won't want to potentially add to that. Looking at the squad, not many would bring in a substantial fee. Struijk would probably bring in the biggest fee. The way the season has turned out, our best wingers are a loan player in Solomon and a 27 yr old Dan James. I think the club were hoping Gnonto would be the main man as he'd bring in decent money. His value has diminished though this season. He hasn't looked anything like a £20m+ prospect to me. I also think they were hoping Joseph would light it up so they could sell for 100% profit if we fail to go up. Sadly it hasn't really worked out for him.

Aye, he's statistically one of the worst keepers in the Champ, and was last season too. I doubt any club in Europe's top leagues would even want him for free let alone offer £10m for him.Titman wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 8:43 pmIt is but some blame has to be laid at the club for what is, nothing short of a ridiculous charade.
