A quick scan of their forum seems to support this. Though most just say he's downed tools.

The rumours seem to have come from Team Talk anyway, so probably bollocks. Dunno.

Edit. Perhaps there is something in it (see below).

Got some of em in family, he was best thing since sliced bread at first which quickly turned to he’s gash, should have sold him to barcodes, won’t get anything like they offered us now.

It’d be a difficult deal for us to with PSR (which becomes obsolete 1st July). If we can shift Piroe on a permanent it’s doable.
However, Juventus rumoured to be in for Mateta & Palace strongly linked with him.

Would PSR matter then?

It does up until June 30th. If we broke it before then we would get sanctioned.

What about the rolling period etc?

We would maybe (probably) have to make a sale between now & 30th June to be compliant for the accounting period. We can’t just ignore it because the system is changing.
As for how it works from 1st July…seems we can spend 85% of our turnover. That’s wages, transfer fees, agents fees. We can exceed this by another 30% (so 115%) but would face review and financial penalties. Anything over that is automatic points deduction. No rolling windows.

But regarding Strand Larsen, if I was a betting man this morning, my money would be on him going to Palace.
