Last year I honestly thought I'd be okay with going down if it meant no Jesse and a reset.
Feels different this time. Like if we go down it'll be a nightmare and the start of the whole 20yr fucking process again.
I'd normally hate the idea of someone like Rafa coming in - other clubs' sloppy seconds - but I feel like he's the man for the job atm. Get him in.
For me it's more about competence in the boardroom. If the club gain that, then we'll be an established Prem club in 5 years time regardless of what happens this season. Though if we don't gain that, even if we pull off the great escape we'll only be relegated a little further down the line.
Need to stop the rot. A good manager would paper over cracks, but the longer term trajectory will always be downwards.

I'll watch later when I finish work. Cheers.
I remember a few years ago you were doing coaching clinics in Mexico or something... what do you do for work now mate? Back to reality or are you still involved in the game somehow?
That's not a loaded question. Just wondering mate.

Had to come back for health reasons but once that's all sorted, I might go back. Thought they'd nailed it but had a couple of recent issues. Theory is the medication needs swapping.
Working at a School now and still coaching aside from that, but more grassroots at the minute.
