West Brom got a penalty the other night v Rotherham that was beyond belief. Player stood on the edge of the D blocks a shot with his head, not only did the ref adjudge it to be handball, he also adjudged it to be inside the box.
Something fundamentally has to be done about the refereeing in the EFL. I've been regularly baffled by decisions all season just in our games. 2 stonewall penalties for us ignored v Sunderland.

The owner said it's about the football philosophy he wants for the club's future. More likely he just had a pissy fit they missed out on playoffs and acted emotionally.
They'll be midtable dross next season. Never sack gaffer when you're so close. You'd think Birmingham's demise would deter owners from trying to fix something that isn't broken.

I know money has been spent but Villa gone from massive disjointed team to European qualification. Say’s a lot about gerrard as a manager, right up there with fat plank ability and skill wise? Decent manager with a plan and voila.
