Well unless I’m wrong, basically, we’re in the first year. Over the next 3 seasons our losses ‘must not’ total more than 39m (in this division) .So 13m a season. So I can understand getting wages off the books. That helps. What I’m struggling to understand is what appears to be a ‘we only spend what we get in’ approach.
Does the funds we're still paying for transfers count? For example we're still paying a certain amount a year to Scum for Dan James.
50m this summer we’re on the hook for. Same next season. Covered this season by parachute payments. Not so much next season.

Reports that teams have offered less than Sinisterras release clause and he’s upset they’re not being considered.

He has no right to be upset. He agreed to that minimum release fee. He should be upset with the clubs unwilling to pay it, not us.

So Bournemouth believe that when they made the 20m bid for Adams his clause was active, Leeds saying it had expired.
